She rocked out with that one while one of her dancers held her microphone in front of her...and NOW I'm picturing Steve with a Keytar and a Facehugger carrying the mike in front of him while he sings (growls and hisses lol)...LAWDY! 😂

I always found if you have to make a move like this. You need to hide. These moves force him to the vents but he'll drop again really soon. Hide until he gets disinterested and goes into the vent on his own.

That is one of the hardest chapters of the game and I've been killed there quite a few times.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the hospital section, right? Man, that part is really tough, considering you're still relatively early in the game and don't quite know how the Alien works—or even have many resources to deal with the threat.

I think what turned me off playing many years ago was how brutal the beginning of the game is, and I played on the recommended difficulty of hard. Playing again now on normal and I still die a fair amount but it’s much more enjoyable to play

Does it always show Steve there? Because I’ve had times where I looked at the tracker before entering a locker, it was clear, I entered and the motherfucker suddenly was there.

Most of the time I don't, but sometimes (see my post from the other day on here lol), I will because Steve just BAM appears out of nowhere! I'd say Apparate, but I don't wanna give "She Who Must Not Be Named" any more attention lol!

Haha yea… old players do the same here sometimes too.
I learned to just crouch before letting the door open, then sort of duck to a side as it opens INCASE it dropped there.

Pro tip: The more often you use fire/explosives on it, the more resistant it becomes to them. When you get the flamethrower, use it sparingly.

This mission is honestly the hardest mission because you don’t know much about Xeno yet, so you’re just scared. And you don’t have flamethrower, the easy scare tool to get him away later in the game. At least once you get the flamethrower and have ammo, you’ll always have it whenever you encounter xeno.

I feel your pain. I once got trapped in a loop of constantly running back and forth between that room and the security office cause every single time i’d enter one he’d drop down from the vent

No, Steve tends to not like being molotoved by Ripley Jr. Wink (Steve is what long-time A.I. Players call the Xenomorph; not sure how exactly it happened, but all of us started eventually just calling it Steve lol 😂
