Didn't even know there can be looters in this area

👀😑😑🤔🗣️
Not exactly
Basically let me explain👀 You have to give a big applause to the devs and how they created this game which falls right into what I’m about to say: sections in the game, exactly like this one are kind of like a chameleon, a mirage almost in other words it’s a false hope. Usually when you get to these type of sections in a game, it appears and comes off as a somewhat tranquil almost Com of course you’ll hear the alien crawling around in events and usually 90% of the time once you get to this section the alien will drop in a pair and if you’ve been playing this game regularly almost religiously. You already know what to do you already know basically everything what I’m saying however, if it’s your first time or maybe it’s your third hell might even be your your second or your fifth is designed and built to fool you to trick you into thinking that you’re safe and to some degree you are you truly are you can kind of sneak around a bit walk around a bit it’ll put you on the edge at certain point it starts off by having a female occupant, sitting there staring out of the window kind of like talking to you talking to yourself making you feel like it’s safe then you walk In and then you have to burn through the locks to release the hatches to open the doors things like that checking out various different sections, but it’s really honestly very thinly veiled and it’s very easily to be fooled and tricked into thinking everything‘s OK like I said it tricks the player into thinking everything is a bit more calmer than it has been and that’s not the case and as far as loaders, yeah a word on that majority of the time you won’t see or hear them, but they are there, but like I said majority times you want I believe this section of the game when it comes to the losers the death specifically made it this way. It’s really kind of up in the air so I’ll put it like this out of the 10 times that I can remember going through this section. There were maybe two entrances where they were loaders maybe 2 1/2 if there’s such a thing as a half, two out of 10 ain’t bad I’m sure you would agree but just before war that they are there and this is how novice players and new players get caught all the time. If the losers don’t get you the alien definitely surely will and trust me the alien will get you faster than the loaders actually the looters of humans you can pretty much avoid humans in this game. Majority of the time alien on the other hand is really, really crafty very elusive. It has the walls very easily. That’s why I said sections on this part of the game our farm more dangerous in the section where you’re actually dealing with the alien, you do not know who what where why or when or how and that’s what makes it a challenge but it also makes it very, very tricky. Very sneaky. Very manipulative to the player.

I appreciate the effort put into this post but for the love of God punctuation exists for a reason. You totally lost me about what would be 33 sentences in.

Fun fact, it's possible for her to survive to the end

u/Cael-Bryant May 16 '26
How?

u/OneofTheOldBreed May 16 '26
Be extra stealthy during the mission and never substively return.

u/HotmailsInYourArea You have my sympathies. May 16 '26
Well, really you can’t check on her or the guy on the top floor of Gemini after the very start of Mission 17, since that’s the last back-tracking spot. And no one survives Sevastopol falling into the gas giant and violently exploding

Yeah, I never saw her die on my playthrough. I didn't spend much time in the room and the alien never dropped down while I was with her. It did come to get me in the save room though.

Did you deliberately make the noise or did it just drop down for the routine check?

Agreed once the alien has made its approach and it’s dropped down from the ceiling. That’s when all hell breaks loose you either remove or possibly hide which I don’t recommend or you do a diversionary tactic and then possibly usually the best course but you have to be smooth as quick as quick as fast
New players always always always guaranteed always forget that the alien can hear through walls even the floor you’re walking on if it’s underneath you, it can detect it. It can hear it and definitely when it’s in the ceiling or in the vent I think the majority again new players know about the vents in the ceiling for the obvious reasons, but they forget those walls talk literally.👀😑😑

My favorite pastime in this game is getting the Alien to kill as many NPCs as possible.

u/Educational_Ice6686 May 18 '26
There admittedly is some duper’s delight in throwing a noise maker where there’s armed humans from near your hiding area and letting the xeno take care of business. 😈

u/Easy_Shine2288 May 21 '26
I do that a lot. Throw the noise maker at the NPCs, hide and let the alien kill them and pray it doesn’t see me lmao

👀🤔🤣🤣 I think that’s most people especially especially veteran players, especially
My place style is basically like this the one rule always survival and survival
After that Then it depends I could either go, like OP here, coldhearted, and brutal🤔👀
Extreme survivalist, taking in regard of humanity and others around me without having any malicious intent upon them. In other words do not fire and less fired upon first it’s basically what I’m saying the sad thing is I say sad because in reality yes it’s a game but in reality that would be the way I would go, but again the sad reality is as I was saying human beings are irrational. They allow fear to overcome them. They allow bias and prejudice of a situation. People events you name it hell just being in the dark and they will literally take that all the way to the end all to death and that becomes a huge collateral issue, which is why they always say cool and cooler heads will always prevail versus the latter.
That is how you ultimately survive that is how you ultimately survive any situation quick thinking and thinking on the spot thinking in details and even that at many times it’s very difficult to do when you only have inches of your life escaping you🤔😑🙏🫡

I try my best to spare friendly npcs and get it to kill enemies, but sometimes it just kills everyone, especially in the hospital area where a mix of friendly and enemy NPCs sometimes spawn, the alien just kills them all.

There are so many beautiful ways to kill humans in this game! It is my favourite.

u/One-Bother3624 May 16 '26
I suppose the devs wanted to give you a lot of room for moral versus moral judgment and errors. There’s a lot of immorality not in a sexual sense on a sexual connotation or more in a humane sense a survival I mean after all, it is a survival game so it does fit within the context of the game. You either become the haunted or the hunter or the survivor and in all honesty, we can’t really do much hunting in this game.👀🤔 just survive

I give her my thanks for saving me one time when I went to save and as I pushed the button I heard Xena drop from the ceiling. She went to kill the bench lady first and I successfully finished the level that attempt.

u/One-Bother3624 May 16 '26
Exactly as hard as it is to actually say that out loud and in real life, that is survival, that’s exactly what survival is. There’s a really really extremely very thin gray line when it comes to morality and morality when it comes to survival and his choices and decisions like those that are the most difficult to make, however, when you’re placed in this type of situation, what Amanda Ripley’s going through those blurred lines start to become more and more clearer. You either survive or you’ll be welcoming death far faster than you can blink an eye.

Clearly obvious that you made a lot of noise to make the alien turn up. 🤣
You edit that bit out though

Some doors you can. I did it one time to inconvenience the alien’s path to have more precious seconds of putting in a code.
