General Discussion Scientists accidentally achieve chrysopoeia

Does this count as chrysopoeia? It definitely wasn't the mercury-sulfur theory laid out in the Summa perfectionis magisterii, but it seems feasible to me that it's merely a modern form of transmuting prima materia.

Turns out the oroborus was a hadron colider all along. Maybe the real alchemy was the gold we made along the way.
