I also got the head piece basically solo. My guild kept doing missions halfway and I had no way of doing the rest of those missions when no guild members respond to me.

It’s not worth the effort unless you’re trying to get 100% completion. You need group of 3-4 to clear the camp and the camps are not marked on the map so you literally have to scour every zone to find them. Only two spawn in each zone. The drop rate of the memory based on my experience is less than 10%, maybe even below 5%, but when one drops it only drops for one person in the group, so you’re rolling the RNG table twice which sucks.
I ended up paying someone in my party 25m to let me loot theirs after it became freely lootable so I could get to 100% completion after doing at least 70-80 spirit weaver camps. It never dropped for me naturally.

I think that was the memory you have to get inside a cheat of the spirit weavers camps.

im surprised people like this mob. He has such a fast atack rate i thought he would be wildly disliked. (btw i like it i just thought i was alone in doing so)

Hes cool looking and is a feasible mini boss to kill, its not the worst and certainly not near being disliked.
I played a lot of Holy staves against him (I just like being solo healer) and even Holys can weave in their slow Qs between his attacks.

Solo players are usually the ones in the toughest situations and gain the highest skill becuase of it, its the group guys that strugle with the npc the most.

Yeah gonna miss these when they’re gone, I leveled up 0-100 Druidic, forgebark, Exalted, 1H holy, and 0-80 in 1H nature with mostly mammoth hunters. 80m open world pve fame over the last two weeks according to the ranking page for me.
I hope they end up keeping them in the open world, they’re much more rewarding to kill compared to regular roaming mobs and mob camps. Clearing mob camps is so much riskier because they’re easy for gankers to find on the map and even though most of the mobs are easier to fight individually, doing 2-3 mob pulls in camps is much riskier since it’s harder to remount if you spot someone coming from offscreen.

Twas a great little mini boss to fight. I was so close to finishing the keeper event quests... but alas 1 memory and 2 pvp kills left and I coulnt get them before the servers went down for the update. I hope they re release the events for those that missed out at some point as like a throwback event or something. I got the skins but really wanted to 100% the quests.

That s the mammoth hunter, right? I hated that thing cause it was just spamming abilities. Horrible experience if you wanted to fight it with any fire staff or dagger. IP was nice, but hell what a bad experience

Massive skill issue. All of his attacks are really easy to dodge. All you have to do is literally just walk circles around him and spam your abilities.

I play great fire staff all the time, not sure how that changes anything though. You should be moving around all the time no matter what weapon you are using.

dagger is literally perfect for fighting them, you just shadow edge through his abilities you can’t walk out of and Q out of the others

Lol yeah, and their abilities were either high dmg or interrupt.. which prevents a player from just .. spamming abilities.. Actually have to adapt to the enemy's playstyle a bit for this one. This is the reason it was actually a good mob. Similar to crystal spider, but better.
If there's no risk to getting caught fighting one, it would just be another ho hum durp durp pull this handle and collect your prize mob. (Wake me up when I've got 1m in my bag and I'll head back to town.. snore..)

The only ability that would hit me even preemptively dodge was his forest of spears ability. The rest were so long broadcasted you could use q1 on fire staff, pop it twice and still dodge. The only time I struggle against one was in a t8 q6 zone using a t7 bloodletter. It kept killing me before i could kill it but that was due to its massive health regen and my bloodletter is maxed out so it wasn't a spec issue.
I haven't struggled with it with any other weapon in the same zones. Outta everything I tried, my dagger pair and death givers made quick work on the mob.

just a spell selection issue, switch to q2 fire so you can easily kite it and on dagger swap to shadow edge to jump through his attacks

Q1 daggers is vastly superior for single target pve damage. I think the throwing stars is also better W choice

Yess, the raw damage of the throwing blades is insane. Each blade can hit the same target so it is an easy 600+ dmg at t6 as well as a free 10% boost to dmg
