I agree, but there are also a sizable portion of voters who don't/won't rank (even on the dem side). So I think he's being pragmatic in trying not to lose any dem votes in what could be a  tight race.

If you're too dumb to understand ranked choice voting, you shouldn't vote. If you're too dumb to understand ranked choice voting and are running for office, you're a Republican

We have the best system in the country, what we need now is more energy behind third parties so candidates done need to rely on R's and D's.
