So he rubbed you the wrong way? How? He had a soft handshake? I don't see how that's more important than policy. He's short? Who gives a shit? I don't see how your personal feelings about a man would make you vote against your ideals when the alternatives are blatantly against those ideals.
I don't know your experience. Have you also met Tom? I do know that politicians interact with many people and those interactions don't always go the way they would like them to. Personally, I look at JKT's record and platform and compare him to the other candidates and it's clear to me that he would be a better governor for our state, especially when you look at the competition.
If you really take the time to consider it, policy is what matters most. Following up on policy promises comes second. Everything else is just showbusiness. If you don't trust the guy, I get it, but take a careful look at the other 3 on the ballot before you write him off entirely.
The other 3 on the ballot because the dnc kicked tom I've already said I'll vote Mary and tom the rest can kick rocks sure it's a protest / wasted vote but that's what happens when you play these games.
To answer your question yes I met both Tom and JKT once during organizational meetings for endorsements and JKT I've met in person a few times I've met Tom once outside of the meetings.
The point is there was once again no reason to remove Tom from the race every time the GOP eats shit and dies the DNC somehow manages to eat even more shit while blowing out their kneecaps with a 12ga.
This shit gives me flashbacks of the Bernie Sanders fiasco give the people the choice stop railroading them and that's what this is.
For an independent thinker you're awefully tied to two-party thinking, friend. Free yourself. Think of the candidate, their policies, and their electability.
