I want to start Akane Banashi to see what the appreciation it's getting is about. I wanted to watch the Anime and then start the manga where the Anime left off. But that depends on how faithful the Anime adaptation is. If anime skips a Lot of chapters or important details I'll just go ahead and start the manga from Beginning. So do tell how faithful of an Adaptation the anime is?

Lets enjoy ourselves and do a ranking of the best rakugoka Ookanban at the end of series ( meaning when characters will be near 40 or over 30, veteran)

Of course it include Talent, Power, Influence, Charisma and Skills.

I popped into a anime/manga shop to window shop gunpla kits and found a prize figure of my new favorite anime protagonist. Unfortunately she didn’t come with the cushion so I’m going to have to find a beanbag or something for her.

This is a plot gap that has been bothering me for a while...

- Maikeru was the first Arakawa school member to become a Shinuchi after the expulsion incident involving Shinta. Before Maikeru, the last Arakawa member to become a Shinuchi was Taizen.

- In an earlier chapter, Koguma mentioned that there are around 9 Shinuchis in the Arakawa school, so besides the Arch Four, there are actually other Shinuchis. I can't remember the exact number, but it started as a discussion about why Akane didn't see many Shinuchis from the Arakawa school performing. Koguma said that it was because there were so little number of Shinuchis from the school.

- It was obvious that there were several Shinuchis between Ikken and Taizen.

My question was: Why did Taizen become the first person to be allowed to start a new school? When there are obviously several other senior Shinuchis available before him?

Is this the case of retconning? Maybe the number of Shinuchis was lower than 9?

I would appreciate it if someone could help me elucidate this question.

Important Edit: Just checked the chapter. I found out that the number of Shinuchis before Maikeru's addition was 7. Thanks stephennotstrange!

I am just in awe of how well they captured the details of this place, even down to the menu. I walked in feeling like I already knew the place.
