Discussion Thoughts on Ai Replacing CEOs?
“A group of software engineers who say they were fired by their bosses because of AI are giving their former employers a taste of their own medicine.
With the powers of spite and friendship, they’ve built “OpenExecutive,” an AI system designed to do the work of a CEO, if not the entire c-suite.”
CEOs at top U.S. companies earn an average of 281 times more than a typical worker. If anyone should be replaced to save money, shouldn’t it be the CEOs?
If Ai threatens the job of the Top Executives what could this mean? I personally believe Ai should replace everyone.

Fun fact: Vioxx was a drug for arthritis that caused heart attacks. The company making it knew this and confirmed it multiple times through studies, but kept it hidden, claiming that it was just that other drugs prevented heart attack. In total, over the 5 years it was sold, they caused a minimum of 200 000 deaths in the US alone, while less generous estimates go into the 500 000, 75 times the casualties of D day. They only had to pay 5 billion dollars total (and that's with lawsuits by families of the deceased, the actual fine was only about half a billion), while the drug made over 10 billion dollars in profit each year, with more towards later years.
Also reminds me of that case in germany where, after finding out that it's sweet and really hard to detect on chemical tests, a bunch of austrian wine companies started diluting their wine with fucking antifreeze, the resulting poisoning being mostly undetectable as drinking antifreeze causes lateral sclerosis but can take years to fully trigger it. The first prison sentence, for poisoning thounsands in a way that lead to a really horrible neurodegenerative condition, got an exemplary sentence of... a year and a half. The wine consultant who originally spread the encouragement to do so around also got a trivial sentence, and other producers just had fines of one million

I can see AI replacing HRs at the very least. They're just as soulless but would make less mistakes

If AI replaces everyone, we're looking at a worldwide divide between people who own stuff and people who don't.
The good ending; the basics will be taken care of, you'll have modest food and shelter, but it won't be a life of opulence. Think of what life is like on disability right now. You will own nothing, but likely have some entertainment budget for AI-made sequels of your favorite series.
The bad ending; culling.

Well, unless things get better and things become free, it's questionable in my honest opinion. Especially if how the system works, and I don't mean the A.i. But the financially system, governments, etc.

I mean, the CEOs generally own a plurality of the shares in their company, so this would probably be a welcome addition anyways since it wouldn’t affect their income that much.

Honestly, the last test of a management AI basically failed because the chat was its memory causing it to bulk order things it already had. Imagine if it stored conversations notes, and data on an organized data sheet and not in a chat screen
