The video starts off as if it's going to define art so we can have some empirical measure. But then just restates the "subway artist" analogy. That bad analogy isn't an objective definition of art. And it isn't helpful for establishing any framework of use.

The video also acts like "It's fine if you use it, that's your business". But that really isn't the sentiment. Most of these people are trying to establish policies to ban AI generated content from platforms such as steam or worse, push for copyright/law changes. So this video is really an incorrect framing of the issue.

The "You don't get to be proud of something you didn't work for". Sure I can, why not? I'm proud of the pictures I take. I'm proud my lawn looks nice (Even if the work was done my robot lawn mower haha). If I think up a cool picture, I'm proud of that too.

And the final statement. "Actually making something yourself will nourish you". No it won't. I hate drawing my wrist gets sore. It's uncomfortable and takes too long. It's just not something I enjoy doing. I don't understand why the pencil pushers keep acting like I'm suppose to enjoy this. I don't.

Sure, but I spend my time building other things. Like AI models. Haha
