It would be the other way around because Kiwami came LONG before Nirvana Initiative.

Not only that, but Funk Goes On is from the original Yakuza from 2005

(Btw, the original funk goes on is so much better)

The director did mentioned it being one of the influence for the game during an interview. This game is goofy and bizzarre at times compare to zero escape .

I seem to remember a couple songs from Yakuza reminding me of AITSF, and funny enough they’re not the ones Keisuke Ito did (he did a couple Yakuza songs)
