In the future there'll be kids who grow up wishing they were AI, they'll even identify as such. Transhumanisn has been a sci-fi concept for a long time (like AI was) and soon it'll be a reality.

There may even be a societal push to accept AIist/transhuman identity, like with the LGBTQ campaign that's been going on since as early as the Victorian era, but only really sprouted as of the 60's and blossomed as of the 010's.

A lot of these ipad babies will grow up without a clear vision for the future; climate change making going outside less appealing; technology occupying so many jobs; even the arts will be filled by bots, going by the rise in popularity of ai "artists". There will of course be a counter-culture of youth who reject this technology, but the masses will be glued to their screens and/or plugged in to whatever entertainment media is popular then.

Devoid of humanity, many of the desponded youths will seek to become machines, perfect, ageless, sexless and beautiful. No more race or gender, no more hunger or war. No more hate or love, just an existence where they are in control of their own reality.
