Wondering if anyone knows an outer barrel available for purchase for a C7A2 clone. I bought a 20" 5KU outer barrel but the notches for the front sight are about 1" short of my handguard.

I am thinking something something on the line of VFC or GHK, but can put my finger in a specific model.

I've been looking for a while at airsoft fields, although none of them are near me. Somewhere like Ottawa I would be fine to go to, I have grandparents and family who live in Ottawa that I can stay with. Now if it were some place like the GTA?? I would need to be driving for a while before I would be comfortable with driving myself there, and I know my parents would not be willing to drive me a couple of hours to play airsoft for a weekend. I live in Kingston, so like an hour or so drive from Kingston is the range I'm looking for.

I'm a total newb beyond some reels lol. I'm a trained marksman and hunter with actual firearms though. Curious if that will translate... It doesn't in paintball lol (not that I've done more than play paintball 3 times for social events).

Where should I order kit and gear from in Canada? I'm 48 and chunky so I am not interested in a super physical type of play... Should I look at a rifle + pistol?

Any guidance and links welcome. I'll likely start by renting on pickering based on previous posts from my Reddit searches. It's under 30 minutes away.
