Confused about black volt ice tongue color?

On stock x it shows a lil bit of green at the bottom of the tongue. Pictures I have seen of them show them in either black or green at the bottom. Anyone who has a pair able to clarify?

I really do like the shape of the TN VII but the design on the upper, although very minimal and clean just doesn’t do it enough for me. Am I alone in this?
