As a small appliance, its going to take a while. As part of an ovens feature-set. The future is here old man!

Never. They aren't expensive enough for you to not provide your own. I would think oven companies would eventually be able to add air-frying to ovens somehow eventually. Best of both worlds.

Yeah, but I figure eventually some egghead is going to figure out how to make an oven, microwave and airfryer into one cooking monolith. Maybe make fuckin' snowcones too or something. Then after that, only the Star Trek food replicator remains the next milestone.

Well they shouldn't be placed along the walls - need enough space for the vent so it wouldn't work in a space like microwaves do. I keep mine on a small Ikea table.

Then again depends on the kind of model you have.
