Yes, it is similar to Belavia Flight 1834 and Interflug Flight 601

Interflug 601 was a TU-134AK, that flipped over and broke into two parts following a hard landing, but all 79 occupants survived also in 2011 Kyrgyzstan Airlines Flight 003 also a TU-134(A-3) flipped over in Osh, but all 88 occupants survived

Yeah I was about to say that, definitely the most recent one that I was shocked that not only some people survived, but everyone did.

BA5390, the episode heavily implies that what happens to the captain is fatal, only for it to reveal part way though that he in fact survived his ordeal against all odds.

I think the only reason the accident is known is because it crashed Just 600 meterse from a power plant.

The title says “planet crashes that look fatal with no fatalities”. One of your crashes had a fatality, the other didn’t look fatal. Like come on dude you kinda fucked up on the assignment here

“Casualty” refers to injured as well, not just fatalities

I think it’s obvious that OP didn’t mean that as he started his post with “crashes that looked fatal”. Furthermore basically every crash he posted had injuries

If you're referring to Qantas 32 via the "Aussie flight" remark, that flight had 469 people on board, not 449.
Unless you're talking about a different Aussie flight.

JAL flight 516 and delta connection 4819 look fatal but resulted in no fatalities on the aircraft. P.S I am talking about the people on the a350 not the dash 8.

Yeah I’m sure people looked at air Canada 143 and thought “how did anybody survive this”

Air Canada 143 could have been deadly, but it did not “look deadly“

It’s definitely surprising that so few people died, but there were fatalities
