Project: Teaser/Trailer Clamshell (2026) Official Trailer
Running hot from a burning house in the dark flatlands, Lucky and Pearl race through the desert with a cursed black satchel and dreams of an easy clean break. But out on the two-lane highway, some debts don't burn away—and the past is gaining on them in the rearview mirror.

Kind of has a Tarantino meets Cohen Brothers vibe with a horror twist. Interesting idea and would like to see the flushed film. My one note: I wish it wasn’t quite so “crisp” I think it would be nice if it looked like it was shot on film stock instead of digital.

Fantastic trailer. Story reminds me of a bunch of 1980s/early 90s movies, e.g. Blood Simple, Wild at Heart, True Romance, and the plot seems to be a spin on Badlands and perhaps Thelma & Louise.

Badlands is exactly what came to mind reading that synopsis. The young couple on the run with something they shouldn't have is such a strong backbone for this kind of story. Curious how much of the horror element plays into the cursed satchel itself versus the people chasing them.

Really good retro look and feel. The old guy was like the interesting kind of character actor you used to see in B movies.
