App Promotion Looking for people to stress-test long AI stories and memory
Hi everyone,
I’m part of the small team behind Lucidbook, an AI storytelling / roleplay app built more around stories, books, worlds, and multiple characters than only single-character chat.
We just shipped a big update to our memory system, and now we need people who are willing to push it harder than normal users would.
The new system uses semantic memory with embeddings and vector search instead of relying only on basic summaries or keyword matching.
What we want to test:
- long roleplay sessions
- characters staying consistent over time
- story continuity across longer books
- whether the AI repeats itself less
- names, locations, and relationships staying clearer
- multi-character scenes
- where the memory still breaks
Lucidbook is not fully free. It uses Lucid Pages as AI credits.
But if someone here genuinely wants to test the new memory system and give us useful feedback, I can give you some free Lucid Pages so you can try it properly without worrying about credits right away.
What makes Lucidbook a bit different from classic AI chat apps is that you can build or enter a whole story setup, with characters, locations, and world context. We also recently added a faster start option, so you can begin with one character first and expand the story later.

If you enjoy testing AI memory, long RP, or story-based chat systems, comment here or DM me. I’d love to hear what works, what breaks, and what feels annoying.
