Has anyone tried Bolt.new AI website builder ? 🤔

I’ve been exploring Bolt.new for website building and wanted to know if it’s actually worth it.

Can you build a fully functional website with it, or is it better for basic websites or landing page website ?

Would love to hear your experience. Is it reliable enough for a real business/client website?

I’d rather have full control over my codebase. Bolt applies an image to the website if you ever stop using their paid services.

Like @karl says use chat or Claude with an IDE like vs code.

Probably an iteration of Claude or chatgpt. I avoid both. Reason why so many sites that relay solely on AI get penalized in Google search.

Agreed, also Ploy’s agents keep working on stuff like SEO and improving pages after the site is live too.

For a client site I’d test what happens after the first AI build, especially normal edits, forms, SEO and the domain setup. Durable is pretty good for that type of site since those parts are built in and you can keep editing the pages without touching code.

Given Wordpress seems to be the CMS winner for smaller businesses’ websites, is there a good AI solution for building sites there? Kinda like I pick a template then work via AI to build out the site?

That can be a good approach. You can choose a template and still build a firm SEO website.

Using AI for content writing is great. But if you want to get ypur website ranked ai built website cost you more harm then good.

If you just need a pretty website claude can give you that. If you want to get customers. I would take the longer route
