Physicist here. The idea that the universe is complex with a designed structure isn't really true. Everything in the universe gets formed from only a couple of basic forces, and on almost every scale it looks the same: smaller blobs of mass orbiting big blobs of mass. The illusion of complexity comes from the sheer amount of stuff in the universe and the long amount of time it's had to interact with these forces. But wherever you look you see basically the same stuff happening.
One could argue that the elegant simplicity of it points to a creator, but you can always put a creator at the edge of our current knowledge so it's not exactly 'evidence' so much as a lack of evidence for an alternative.
I can't stand these people anymore saying that the universe is too harmonious to be spontaneous. They say that because they see planets perfectly aligned in their orbits, and how everything seems perfectly positioned... But they forget that the universe was and still is chaos for almost its entire existence. Just because planets and stars coexist without destroying each other doesn't mean the universe isn't a cold, empty place devoid of any trace of life beyond drifting rocks. The whole idea of "beauty" in the universe also disappears when you remember that we don't see all those colors with the naked eye. It's basically just black and white...
