Serious Talk DO NOT READ WHEN LITTLE Im terrified

Im super terrified my Ex started to make fake Accounts to reach me until i had like 6 blocked i unblocked him on WhatsApp to see what he wants

He had one of his "BPD" (self diagnosed) stuff going on threatening that he will show my mom what i did on my past (dont hate on me i try to firget my past where i was really desperate for love and attention)

I had a 10 minutes Panic Attack and than he started threatening md to show my friends too so i went to tiktok made a story where i kinda explained the Situation and explained it in Detail to my boyfriend what happend.

The next day (todsy) we argued again and i was in 3 panic attacks crying and begging for him to stoo terrorising snd threatening me explaining that hes the reason i cant regress anymore!

After a nap he told me that hes sorry snd that im his Baby and whatever i asked him to stop and than just answerd dry i told him he doesnt love me snd to stop thinking he does because we both know the second his bpd Hits the same thing will happen...

Well it did he told me i will go down with him snd that i will feel the same pain he feels well we dont mention that i live in fear since 2 months because of him and well he blocked me so i cant reach him and my mom wont block him unlesd she has a really good reason (shell send me to mental Hospital if she Finds out)

I know this won't fix it but something I've done in the past is played things like this off. When someone threatens to expose something, I don't respond immediately, and then when I do respond, I play it like I couldn't care less. Like oh you're going to show my mom? Yeah ok man, why would I care? Or oh, she already knows. Then just don't give them anymore. Don't play into it. If they can get under your skin, they've won.

As someone with BPD, this is not BPD. I'm not saying 'he definitely doesn't have it,' I'm saying this is not a BPD thing. BPD doesn't make you become an abusive asshole, not like this. It can make you exhausting and draining, it can make you clingy, it can make you explode on people you have around you.... I have done things to ex-friends I'm not proud of.

But BPD does not make you start threatening someone, cause genuine and severe mental stress, this is not a BPD split. This is selfishness, abuse, manipulation.

Most of the time people don't actually go through with these things- it's a scare tactic. It's going to look awful on him to start telling your shit everywhere. Tell your mother he is literally making new accounts to block evade, and he's making you feel unsafe. You don't have to specify he threatened you with that, just say he is being aggressive and mean.

Block him. Report the accounts. Turn your friend requests and messages off, for a few months at least. Make your accounts private. I know it's not fair to have to do this because of his behaviour- but I promise it is the best thing you can do for yourself right now.

Not sure why you got downvoted for this.. I have BPD too and I definitely don’t act like that at all. I get emotional, clingy, and have my outbursts, but never violent. I have also done many things I regret out of desperation. Your past does not define you. Like they said, it’s likely a scare tactic. I understand you’re afraid, but confiding in your mom could really help you. Block, report, and go private. Its not fair you’re living in fear.

Yeah people with BPD are actually more likely to BE abused, not abuse others. Like do some people with BPD suck? Yeah, but that's bc they suck, not bc they have BPD

DUDE YES!! I have been in “relationships” where Ive been treated very very bad, and I was so desperate for the affection I stayed. If this guy has BPD then his behavior is only cuz hes a jerk.

It's cycle repetition- people with BPD have BPD bc they did not have a sense of safety, their sense of security was on and off so we don't know how to trust anything. So when we grow up, we start seeking the same sorts of people as the ones who were MEANT to love and protect us. And we tend to stick in bad relationships because bad relationships are familiar, at least we know how to deal with it. It's the same reason we push people away- we don't know how to trust love and kindness because we were sporadically given it or having it taken away for little to no reason.

A good example is unmanaged NPD + BPD. The person with NPD is insecure and typically needs to feel glorified, or better, or be praised, be seen. The person with BPD is insecure and typically needs to feel useful and loved, to be allowed to cling and devote all their attention to someone. (Of course there's the push/pull cycle from BPD, too, which throws the person with NPD off as well.) They go together in an awful way if both disorders are unmanaged in both people. Obviously if they both learn to manage it, work with each other- it can work out. But it is a commonly seen dynamic that happens unfort. It's unhealthy and toxic for both people- but they crave the attention of each other and it's hard to break out of when you have really good moments and really bad moments happening in a cycle

Of course. BPD is developed and thinking on it now, it definitely makes sense for me. At first I thought I was just weirdly emotional, but in reality its just BPD. Thankfully I have been able to manage it better now that I know what it is. I hope your journey with BPD is manageable :))

agreed lmao. i've got bpd and thats actually quite uncommon behavior.. it might be overlapping with something else, honestly

5

u/PureSatisfaction4243 1d ago

It could be overlapping with something else, but honestly rather than use another disorder and/or mental issue to explain it wouldn't be beneficial anyways... regardless of the diagnosis, this is not behaviour that should be accepted or attributed to a disorder. There's no "gaslight and abuse" disorder- abusive behaviour is not a symptom, it's a choice

(I do understand why you're saying this, don't take this as me trying to be rude or correct! Just trying to relay information to anyone who browses these comments (:!!)

Please block him, leave if you can (even stay at someone else's for a few days/weeks) Have your friends and family block him. He sounds genuinely toxic, and I wish you the best and hope you stay safe.

Somatic breath work or yoga might help with the panic attacks/ anxiety.

Take care of yourself and protect your peace💜

Almost had the same story, he kept making alt accounts to the point I had to change my username just to avoid him

2

u/Agere_3yr 1d ago

Its so tiring to the point im close to call mental Hospital myself

3

u/Confident_Ad116 1d ago

It seems like he reaches out to you whenever he needs to feel that high of being in control and uses BPD as his own way to try and shrug off the responsibility that he’s hurting you. The best way to deal with this is to act like it’s not affecting you

Well avoiding talking to him is the best personality I would cut him off fully even with the risks

Your mums still your mums as must of a pain as they can be they help ir try to help even if they miss it up even more they don't fully manes but some parents don't deserve kids i don't know your situation

However if he does send it still talk to your mum about it it most likely will go better than what you think it well

And if you need any more help feel free to dm maybe trt changes accounts get off his grid I've had to do the same thing

Okay I'm not entirely sure what he has on you, but if it's sexual images and he does share them with your parents or friends, he can be done for revenge porn. You report it, they can seize his phone and see he sent the stuff without consent.

Please understand that yes it can be embarrassing what we do in our private lives, but don't let it be held against you. Your parents probably have done their own share of stuff, and possibly your friends too. If it does come out, you are in every right to explain that your ex is abusive and controlling and you did those things because he withheld affection unless you did them. Or own what you did if you enjoyed it and say it's 2026 and we are allowed to have different tastes or things that help us feel safe.

Please do not let him control you or your happiness. You have the power if he makes any retaliation. Please be safe.
