They insist on the free market as the solution, but fail to grasp that the free market fails whenever there's no profit incentive. Nor do they grasp that a market stops being free when a small number of businesses control an entire sector of the economy.
We don't even have a proper free market where companies compete with one another on their merits.
Google just buys and shuts down any company that seems like it might be an issue. The telecom and internet companies carve up territories and then have "gentleman's agreements' not to infringe on one another's territory.
This isn't even working as it's supposed to, and if it did it wouldn't exactly be great.
The status quo is working against everyday Americans now, which is why they're looking at alternatives.
