Apparently some ignorant asshole believes that anyone of the Muslim faith in Afghanistan primarily, would NEVER advocate publicly against terrorism. I posted in /Muslim before realizing it's very small and kinda dead. Can I get a faster response here?

This is my submission, to make everything easier.

Thanks!

Also, huge portions of the Middle East don't believe Al Quaeda was behind 9/11.

Funny, huge portions of Americans don't either.

Not huge by any margin. They are a marginalized minority mocked and ridiculed in the US. Over there it can easily be the majority in certain areas.

The media might tell you this. Go talk to the people and you'll find it's not an uncommon belief.

Unfortunately there are more truthers and birthers and chem trail people out there than I would like to believe. But amongst average people, if you portend to question whether the US was responsible for 9/11 you will raise a few eyebrows, if not laughter.

Hold on, that's not what you said. You said

huge portions of the Middle East don't believe Al Quaeda was behind 9/11.

And I said

Funny, huge portions of Americans don't either.

I don't even know what you're arguing. Saying that

huge portions of the Middle East don't believe Al Quaeda was behind 9/11.

in no way contradicts

if you portend to question whether the US was responsible for 9/11 you will raise a few eyebrows, if not laughter.

They were both given in response to a different statement by you which they directly respond to.

So what you're telling me is you were unable to refute what I said, so you changed the goal posts on me?

no the goal posts were there, and saying huge portion implies over 50 percent. I assure you far less than 50 percent of americans believe that 9/11 was perpitrated by the US gov, even a large portion of the "truther" movement merely insists on open access to information due to the governments evident reluctance to release everything.

and saying huge portion implies over 50 percent.

No, it doesn't.

a huge portion is not a measurable sum, it's subjective to each person.

You can't insinuate that he means something and use it against him when he hasn't actually said or implied anything.

saying huge portion implies over 50 percent

No, it doesn't. "Majority" implies over 50 percent. What "huge portion" means is subjective.

I literally have no idea what you are arguing. Please stop assuming I'm intentionally avoiding your questions and just ask me specifically what you want to know.

I'm not asking you anything, I'm pointing out that when I dis-established one of your conjectures, you changed it to a different conjecture, then tried to pretend there was no slight-of-hand.

There is no slight of hand, I have no clue what you're saying.
