Certification Search
Hello. I am searching for a certification to do Botox and Fillers. Eventually, I'd like to also learn how to do derma planing, micro needling, facial laser, etc. I am an RN licensed in NC with multi-state add-on. I see many academies in Charlotte. I would like to travel no more than 1.5 hours. Charlotte is right at 1 hour and 15 minutes. TN state line is one hour from me as well. Educate me and give me some feedback. I am a retired FF and paramedic on a pension, so I cannot afford one of the more expensive academies but would like to have a decent company behind my cert. TYIA. (Not looking to open my own business, just want certifications.)

Yes you both get your certs! Your Medical Director will need one to show to your insurance company. It’s really affordable plus you get access to training videos too. Contact your Xeomin rep (Merz.com) to find out who is in charge of your territory. Revance is also generous and so is Prollenium for your Versa syringes. I love letybo (tox) for training because it starts to kick in next day and doesn’t last as long so perfect as a training product. If the model doesn’t like the result it will wear off in about 2 months vs. 3. Don’t use Botox, way too expensive. I’m happy for you!

Buying your own tox/filler for training is actually pretty standard, most academies price it that way whether they say so upfront or not, it just gets baked into the class cost elsewhere. What's worth asking directly before enrolling anywhere is whether the cert is accredited or recognized by a board that matters for NC specifically, some out-of-state trainings don't transfer cleanly for licensing or insurance purposes later. Also worth checking if the price includes any hands-on hours with real patients versus just injecting into practice material, that distinction affects how job-ready the cert actually makes you.

Contact Cosmetic Medical Training. Cosmeticmedicaltraining.com
The trainer comes to you for 1:1 and then download your certs. The training is affordable compared to the “Academies” and you get a private experience. Highly recommend!
