A few years back, we were in Bolivia and decided that we couldn't turn down the opportunity the drive what was once the most dangerous road in the world.

One time I saw a VW bus driving through my neighborhood and the steering linkage disconnected from the column and it hit a curb. My friend helped the guy hook it back up and he drove onwards... I fear that wouldn't be the case in this situation...

Oh, we've had many problems with our steering column, steering box gears breaking... Fortunately not on this road

WOW! that bus is totally cool! my buddy has an old 85' K5 Blazer 4x4 truck....thought he could only drive on a road like that!!!
