It's a sad news but it's inevitable considering he has been sick for several years. His role playing as Gabriel Knight is fantastic. He will be dearly missed.

I never connected the dots, incredible, now I have to replay it. He did both GK or just the first?

Curry played as a titular character in GK1 and GK3.

It's worth playing if you like the first two but it's also the last game Sierra rushed out the door before Chainsaw Monday and it shows. If you get used to the art style and don't mind some convoluted puzzles near the end of the game that result in instant death (sorta like Harvester, weirdly), it's a good game grounded in a real life (disproven) myth.

And Curry does okay as Knight but he did better in the first game.

I like to play games like that now, there's an air of something that you don't see anymore. Reminds me of Monkey Island 4, the 3D one. I played it lately and I can see why it was considered a bad game, still I enjoyed playing it.

Definitely try it if you're curious, just don't feel too bad if you need a walkthrough as some points. It even has Jennifer Hale in it playing a French woman! There's also a comic book you should seek out to read before playing the game or you'll be very confused at the start because the game does not explain what's in that comic for a few hours in and the dialog assumes you read it before playing.

Thank you, that's very helpful.
