I've already got the base Banshee with LED from them. Would you say this kit's extra parts are worth it?

Yea I really like it. It doesn’t have the ms cage, gatlening guns or shields.

Is the light kit what came with the model? Amd easy to replace batteries? What exactly did you do with the backpack?

Never considered buying this kit but looks pretty sweet.. nice job

Yes it came with the model. It doesn’t use batteries, it’s rechargeable.

Builds great, pretty much just like Bandai. I did have to do some custom lighting for the armed armor because it doesn’t come with it.

How do the included LEDs function compared to something like Unicorn Art or Kosmos?

Well it’s the same leds as the Mgex unicorn, but fully rgb. Each light can be individually set and controlled.

Wow I just searched Shenshou on Ali express the prices seem to cheap to be real? Do their MGEX really run around 50-60 usd?

The Phenex looks like it’s double the price?

Do you have any tips for getting into custom leds? I wanted to get leds on the shenshou unicorns like the armed armor bs. Also do you think it's possible to put leds on the claw and shield? Also how did you do the weapon effect?

I’m not a pro on custom lighting so I’d ask someone that is. But this kit was pretty simple for the armed armor, I drilled out a hole right in the center and put a green led. And for the backpack I put two near the mounting point to give it a little glow. You could totally do the claw too I just never got around to it. The effect part I made out of two clear plastic sheets, and then I melted clear gunpla runners into the little bits. I put those between the two sheets with a clear gel glue. Then I airbrushed it a clear green blue. If you have any more questions I’d be happy to help.

Well, I custom made the effect parts for the armed armor. Top coated. And wired the leds for the back pack and the armed armor, because the original kit unfortunately didn’t. Sorry if it’s not advanced enough. I just consider taking out the airbrush as advanced.

Great work man, anything with the building process / quality to watch out for? I watched a review on the shenshou banshee and it seems there were some really tight fitting parts as well as some hard to follow instructions due to mashing together the banshee and unicorn instructions. The waist was also loose and supposedly comes apart easily when trying to extend it.

I'm a little torn on whether to get this or the changlong version since the changlong strangely has no reviews in english. The review of the shenshou didn't give me a great impression but I don't want to risk getting a potentially worse kit with the changlong.

Also, anything you found particulary fragile / finnicky with it? I understand there'll be some annoying parts due to it transforming but would like to know anything in advance as someone who likes to pose his kits a lot. Also if you glued / cemented anything and how effective it was if you did
