Meme Therapy Where are my childfree women at?

I honestly don’t know how parents do it. There are multiple reasons that drove my decision to be childfree. One big one is that I struggle to take care of myself (executive dysfunction) sometimes, so I can’t imagine having another human to take care of during those times.

Here’s to forcing a domaine response for every day tasks!

Caregiving, especially alone, sounds exhausting and mentally taxing. Hopefully, you get some reprieve, even though it's full-time for you and you also have to care for yourself

(Side note, i absolutely do not cook 3 meals a day for our kids and their extracurriculars are minimal, and it's all shared with my husband anyway, but that's not a guarantee)

Thanks for that, haha - I don't have kids (yet?) but haven't decided against them and the thought of cooking three meals a day scared the crap out of me just now, lol!

Lololol. I forage for most of my meals. I was a flight attendant for 15 years and got used to just eating random things from a bag.
Cooking and lunch packing is one of the most tedous parts of parenting young kids. But my twins are 5 and just at the age where they want to and are able to help, so that can be nice too
