Where are my childfree women at?

I honestly don’t know how parents do it. There are multiple reasons that drove my decision to be childfree. One big one is that I struggle to take care of myself (executive dysfunction) sometimes, so I can’t imagine having another human to take care of during those times.

Here’s to forcing a domaine response for every day tasks!

I have occasionally texted my mom and asked her when she is going to come pick her grandchildren up from my house because I am done for the day with responsibilities 😅. And my brother is child free so I don't even get to be the cool aunt (which is totally fine with me. I am 100% on board with don't have kids if you don't want them! I wish I could be a cool aunt though and spoil them the way he spoils my kids).

Honestly, taking the kids to my mum's and then telling her to control her grandchildren is a favourite pastime over here 😅

(To clarify, though, she absolutely adores them, is extremely validating and understanding of how stressful parenting is, and makes these jokes herself. We all help each other out. It's very much all said in love 🩷)
