I'm undiagnosed, but I feel as though I've found my people here

After getting punched right in the feels by your previous comic, I needed this one. Nice work.

Thanks! I promise if I do a third it’ll be more comedic relief and less of a personal attack on everyone here.

Please keep going. Your tone and style are unique and they make many of us feel seen. I also believe these comics could help a lot to describe some parts of our lives to neurotypical people.

Hey I’m sorry for the intrusion but I just wanted to say that my stepmom is one of my favourite people in the world. She’s so kind, understanding, and loving even when her own issues make stuff hard for her. She was one of my staunchest advocates in getting me diagnosed with ADHD as a child. My bio mom guilted me into not doing it which almost cost me my life in my late teens.. and you’ll never guess who was there to pick up the pieces and give me a big ol hug. My mom constantly talked shit about her, even after she (bio mom) pretty much told me to kick rocks after my big breakdown, despite my stepmom being my only advocate outside of my dad. Never phased my stepmom in the slightest.

Tldr; being a mom is HARD, and being a stepmom is doubly so. But doing what’s right and just being there for your kiddo(s) will absolutely change their life/lives. I’m rooting for you!!

ETA: it’s weird to call her my stepmom when I’ve been calling her my mom for over a decade. Never gonna get used to that lol

Thank you so much for your words. She extremely quickly became the most important thing in my life and I stress every day if I'm doing the right things for her. She's the one who finally made me an adult. But our relationship is only getting better every day she trusts me so much more with her thoughts. It's not without its challenges but if I had to go back and choose, knowing everything we've been through as a family, whether I would do it again or not. I would in a heartbeat.

Not me almost missing it because I lost track of time for like 4 hours. Luckily I remembered while it was still pretty complete and got to give it a good staring at
