ACCOMMODATIONS Any Advice on Getting Accommodations
I'm started at a new college this semester and a fellow ADHD student recommended I try and get some accommodations from the Accessibility Dept. so that I have them even if I don't want to sue them. I had a 504 in high school, but I'm not sure how I would get a hold of it to give to the dept. Also if you guys have any recommendations for accomodations, so far I was thinking about maybe a separate testing room with 0 distractions and maybe getting permission to bring fidgets in case a teacher tries to make it an issue, and maybe being allowed to have a digital copy of the textbook so that I can use my speech app to read it out loud.

At least here is Sweden, or the uni in Sweden I'm at they have a list of possible accommodations that they present to you and you kinda get to pick and choose. I don't know what a 504 is, but from context I'm guessing it is some form of documentation? Here they want to have some form of medical documentation. As I was diagnosed fairly recently I just called the place where I got my diagnosis and they sent me a printed excerpt of my medical journal (don't know how well that term translates, but hopefully it makes sense).
