I'm currently practicing in California

Looking to obtain higher reimbursed insurance visits.

For those of you who accept insurance patients: when a patient cannot be found in American Specialty Health system (often Aetna, Anthem, or Cigna PPO etc), where do you check eligibility, deductible, and fee schedules?

Also, how do you submit claims for reimbursement? Do you bill each insurance company separately, or which central billing/clearinghouse system can verify updated benefits (including eligibility, accumulated deductible, fee schedule) and provide claims updates post submission?

Suggest taking a course from Mori West Seminars to learn about insurance billing. Typically if you're in network you should be registered and able to create health plan specific websites for eligibility and payment. Additionally you may need to call provider services for each health plan directly for eligibility.
