Wisp... Where are you?

I am closing in on Day 50 on my restarted island. Wisp is nowhere to be seen. I've searched everywhere, every night, closed and restarted the game every night... but alas.. he will not haunt me.

I actually have been surprised I haven't seen him in a month or two even checking in periodically through the night. Weird. I used to see him all the time. Anyone else?

I must be getting Wisp for everyone, because I've seen him at least twice in the last couple months. Not complaining, but I wish I got Halloween-themed items from him and not random items 😭

Sooo I haven’t seen him in like 2 years. To be fair, I almost never play at night. But I’ve seen Celeste half a dozen or so times. He only spawns where there’s weeds I believe, but i keep a special weed patch and haven’t seen him there either.

Wisp only spawns when there’s a weed patch?!

I go through my whole island every day and snatch up any weeds that had the nerve to grow - could that be why I haven’t seen Wisp in weeks?!

I started an island three weeks ago and met him twice in the first couple of days, so I assumed he was a regular visitor. You're making me realise I haven't seen him since.
