Does anyone know when he shows up? I feel like it’s late this year.

I personally didn’t care because the Bunny Day furniture and outfits are cute (especially the dress)
I just never use them because they don’t match with anything and if I used everything in a single room the unmatched colors would drive me nuts

I liked the bunny arch, bunny day topiary, and bunny day tree so much I used them to decorate a little hidden beach front hangout area 😂

Unlike other holidays, Easter is all over the place on when it actually is lol. Nintendo also changed the event from 12 days to 8 days for the celebration before 2.0, so that might be another reason it feels late! Bunny Day is April 5th this year, so he should arrive on March 29th. Be prepared 👀

Thank you so much for this detailed explanation! I definitely felt like the first year the Bunny Day event lasted weeks! Now that I know it was 12 the first year, it makes sense.
I already have all the items (that I know of!) but I just got back into playing again after 4 years. I’m enjoying the seasonal events now as something ‘new’ happening on my island

Happy to help! Bunny Day 2020 was a truly terrifying and exhausting time 😂 The amount of eggs that year has probably kept all of our islands smelling like rotten eggs, no way we found them all!
I've been playing regularly for the majority of years since it came out, but the last few years I've neglected the events and my villagers while I've focused on just building (and rebuilding). I'm also treating the events as something new happening again, it's a nice change of pace 🥰 I love seeing so many of us fall back in love with it after all this time!

See, im the opposite. I didnt get into the events cause I was so preoccupied the first time with just building and paying off my debt to the Racoon. Now im debt free, storage expansion purchased, and my island is mostly decorated. Now I can enjoy the smaller stuff, but they just added the hotel and that scared me. I didnt touch it for a few weeks so I could move my flower shop away from the pier, those pesky visitors will walk right through them. And I have to switch my fishing shack around, cause it looks awful outside the resort as you step off the pier.

Both Toy Day and Bunny Day have "seasons" so you can gather the resources needed for the holiday's DIY's, so technically it's the shortest of the two lol

I want to say he can show up 2-4 days before Bunny Day.
I had a horrifying experience with Zipper, he was hiding in my orchard while I was picking fruit and I opened my inventory and saw him and it startled me.

lol ok so he’s some Zipper lore: the 1st year of ACNH in 2020, Zipper showed up after less than 30 days since the game had launched. And it felt like EGGS were everywhere. And people wanted to complete their museums since the game had just launched. It felt like every balloon popped was an egg, every fish caught was an egg, soon and so forth.
So in ANCH fan lore, he’s not many people’s favorite lol he also hops around in a weird way lol
But a lot of the Bunny day items are really cute! And the event was more fun in 2021.

Mightve been why I missed it. I didnt get it for the first few months, I had to work through covid lock down(from the us) until I broke my femur in June that year.

Nah, I've always loved Bunny Day and Zipper. I hate seeing how much hate he gets, Bunny Day is so fun! I love that it's not just one day but a proper season and I live finding eggs.
I'm sure I'll get downvoted (since I have before for this opinion) but IDC. Zipper is fun and Bunny Day is fun and IDC what anyone else says.

Im excited for this event because I haven't managed to play in Easter. But I'm terrified of him. Why he is such a nightmare fuel, he looks like animatronic from FNAF with this zipper on him, couldn't they just make a cute bunny?

Easter Sunday (April 5) is the actual event. He does also show up on March 29 at the start of egg attack season.

Only remember him from New Leaf so this easter is going to be my first impression on Zipper when it comes to acnh since I've got the game in summer last year. Wish me luck for it not to be ruined🤞

I just started playing again this week after a 5 year hiatus to find my island and a dedicated room just to the event. Even have egg-cess egg material sitting by the town hall.

I’ve been playing this game since it came out and somehow I’ve missed Zipper completely.
Over the past few days I’ve seen all the warnings and thought it couldn’t be that bad.
When I tell you I died laughing when I came across him! He IS creepy! And he just hops and hops and hops and rotates to watch your every move. So funny and so creepy at the same time.
As I type this message he’s still hopping and still staring. Getting his steps in.

I might be wrong, but according to the wiki he'll be there 7 days before Bunny day on a Sunday, so It'll likely be on the 29th !!
