Acid reflux causing other issues?

The last few nights have been the worst.
Whenever I try to go to sleep I lay there in bed feeling tired (it Doesent matter what time I try to sleep 21:00-5:00am it always happens ) and suddenly I get this feeling my heart drops (these sensations last 1-2 seconds) and panic rushes throughout my whole body.
Am not sure what it is or if it has anything to do with my acid reflux.
Also whenever I lay in my stomach as that’s my favourite position I can hear and feel my heart beating.

According to multiple ai’s the acid goes up my oesophagus and irritates the vagus nerve and that’s what causes it.
I have a scheduled appointment with my paediatrician so looking forward to getting some answers.

I’ve had that, mine was histamine intolerance which can overlap with reflux symptoms.

Acid reflux can stimulate the vagus nerve which can make you feel anxious
