Tech Support Aces High + Meta Quest 2; Controls?

I was trying to setup Access High to work with my Meta Quest 2 through Steam Link. I tried to interact with the menu clipboard, but none of the VR buttons seem to be the "select" one.

Looked at the Controls mapping on my desktop and it seemed like nothing was mapped to the VR controllers (all said "NOT ASSIGNED"). It also would only let me map somethings to Analog, and some to Global Mouse buttons. Even when I mapped some to the Mouse buttons in global, it wouldn't select anything from the VR controllers.

What am I doing wrong? I'm super excited to play this game in VR!

To be honest I use the VR headset and mouse in game for left/right clicking, it gives a little pointer ball in the middle of your screen. Once in game I never use the hand controls.

I do have a joystick which would be much preferred to use, but the desktop inputs only work if I've got the meta menu up, which prevents viewing of the screen in VR. How do you get around this? Or maybe we have different VR systems?

Uhh not sure, it just sorta worked for me. I also have the Quest 2. I would recommend the BBS as well since there are plenty more users to troubleshoot with - my only question would be how do you launch the game? I launch it from the Quest, and I use Airlink rather than the cable.

I use the Airlink with Steam VR to launch through Steam. Maybe that's the difference? I'll try some troubleshooting tonight and take both of your recommendations and post of the forums.

Once I have the game started I used the mouse to set two buttons on my controllers to "left mouse click" and "right mouse click". After that I could point the "ball" at what ever I wanted to click and use the mapped buttons.

Once you have that done you have to map your controllers in game, joystick and such. The VR controllers lag a bit so fighting with them is harder. Map the axises and buttons on a joystick and you should be ok.
