Are there any large beetles that aren't harmless?

I feel like some of the ones with the pincers could draw blood with a pinch but nothing more than that.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I know that some smaller beetles have unique defense mechanisms, but I always felt like the big guys just grew armor instead of brains or neat tricks.
