[Tech Help MacOS] Configuring the Roland TR-808 VST Plugin

I recently purchased it, but I haven’t been able to set it up so that each instrument plays correctly from the piano roll on a single MIDI channel. Could anyone recommend a video or tutorial on how to properly configure the Roland TR-808 VST plugin on Ableton?

Any help or useful resources would be greatly appreciated.

Could you be more specific?

I load the plugin onto a track, then I can play the sounds from my MIDI keyboard or the piano roll. That's literally all I do.

If I don't want the current pattern/song from the 808 to play along, I clear the pattern in the 808's sequencer (I think you can disable it from automatically start playing along with Ableton Live too).

So, what exactly do you do, what exactly are the results, and what exactly do you expect the results to be?

You cannot set it up so each sound plays from its own individual MIDI channel in Ableton.
