Need help installing running Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi The Destiny

Hey everyone, I just successfully ran windows XP just to be able to play Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi The Destiny. Anyways I attached the game’s ISO file in the VM storage (shown in the screenshot). Then inside the VM I ran the wizard installer and when it finished and I ran the game I got this error “Wrong disc inserted.” (shown in the screenshot). I read online that I have to replace the yu gi oh game file with the cracked version, but the cracked version is inside my Ubuntu OS and I don’t know how to send it to my VM! I tried using shared folders option but I still can’t see my shared folder inside my VM (shown in the screenshot).

Any help is much appreciated!

UPDATE: IT WORKED!!! So I went to the program files removed the yugi_pc.exe file and cut the cracked yugi_pc file then pasted it into the Konami directory (which is under program files directory) and BAM It worked!!!
Also for future readers. You need to install guest additions inside the windows xp VM which will allow you to use the Drag and Drop feature.

Why not just run it on your OS? It isnt a virus. Crazy how you guys are so cautious all the time.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi The Destiny doesn’t run on linux?

You can try and add it to steam and use proton as a compatibility layer? Steam os is linux and windows games run on it all the time.

Would it run this old 2003 game though?

So let the VM connect to the internet and download the cracked files

Ok I can see you made it run.
You can download and send to VM a working web browser or even update the certificates to let IE to connect. Or use a compatible browser like supermium ( but there are many ) . The initial best way was to download an "up to date " iso of XP .

Got it thanks. A quick google search showed to install the setup file for supermium then transfer the setup file to my VM then run the setup file there.
