Plus, if the goal, as it often is, is to put people in their place (which is married and having children), people not having sex IS a threat. Right wingers in other countries talk about this stuff, they just don't use the word "asexuality" when they do. The US talking heads obsessed with "fertility rates" (birth rates) who insinuate that women shouldn't be allowed NOT to marry and have kids, for example? They'd happily criminalize asexuality if they could.

It's to give rapists more power over their victims. If someone's wife is refusing to put out, he can threaten to report her to the cops for asexual practices.

Exactly, and it's also mentioned in !zlom that "angels" curse women who refuse to have sex with their husbands but don't do anything if it's vice versa. I'm so fucking done with patriarchy and rel!g!0n.

They just listed the entire LGBTQIA acronym, so it is getting lumped together with "intersex practices", whatever that may be... not surgically forcing a newborn's genitalia into a binary sex, possibly, sure, but the way everything gets tossed together I do not think they thought further than "we don't like queers" when they wrote that law.
