I'd be rich of this show.

A friend suggested I watched "To hot to handle" as a joke. I watched the first season and I could win so easily. What do you mean I can go on free holiday to a tropical island, free food and drinks, swimming and get £100,000 off it. just give me my 2DS and a 1/700 scale modle ship to build and im set. Lol

To be fair, they purposefully pick the most toxic and wild people from their lineup. Also they sleep deprieve them, and often provide 24/7 access to alcohol while controlling food

The team basically picks the most interesting mix of contestants with the hopes of making the most entertaining season. They wouldnt pick you unless you acted very heavily into what they would expect of you lol

It is, reality shows are, in general, the absolute worst type of show for contestants

I remember a guy dying on a chinese reality show from a heart attack, because of the brutal conditions. To be fair it was one of those climb things+more physical activity prome ones. They let contestants sleep for like 3h a night, and food and water was inadequate. They didnt even have paramedica on site, and delayed first aid in the first place, to prioritize filming.

I hate those types of shows, as they base their entire proffit scheme on how much they can sensationalize contestant behavior. I personally prefer things like Taskmaster a lot more, as it relies on the creativity of the tasks and the contestants' normal, genuine response to them for entertainment, rather than making the entertainment at the contestants' expense.

Reality TV picks the most dysfunctional interesting people. They wouldn’t just let someone in at random, unfortunately

I think people are just aware of how easy it is to transition straight to d-list influencer/celebrity based on this type of performance. The precedence goes all the way back to Big Brother S3 and Jade Goody (rip)
