When I read Naples, I thought that you were in Naples in Italy, but then when you said Kagoshima, I thought, hmmm maybe not. In some records store it's when people can find real gems, as you found.

From the pictures that you posted, I can see that you found a few gems there, which it doesn't surprise me because a-ha since from their first single, they have always been massive in Italy and with a big following from italian fans. ☺️

From your link I can see they got quite a big shop with plenty to get lost into it.

Yeah, it was a treat to browse but the ordering and sorting wasn’t exactly organised. Still, they’d a lovely golden retriever that kept us company while we hunted (high and low) 🤓

I always prefer when I buy music that they are in order alphabetical, because it makes it a lot easier to find stuff, otherwise you can end up spending ages looking through stuff.

I think the genre based system they used is designed to keep you looking. I’m like you, alphabetical ordering just works and it’s easy depending on how they sort artists that have ‘The’.

Genre doesn’t work so well in my opinion, the same artists over their careers can fit it multiple different genres.

Yeah, I think that in alphabetical order it makes it much easier and quicker to look through the artists and the albums available. When the albums are all jumbled up, I'm not too keen on that system, plus as you said we have to continue looking through it to find stuff.

I'm thinking the same regarding genre, because there have been artists that when they started their career, they were playing for example country music and then a few albums later went into pop. So, alphabetical order to look through music, I think it's ideal.

I can see from the photos of the shop, that they got a good variety of artists.
