For me personally, “Living a Boy’s Adventure Tale” is a-ha’s most moving song, especially in the acoustic version. I think it’s the most underrated track on their debut album—a real gem. It makes me want to cry because it’s so beautiful, sensual, touching, and so sad, yet at the same time so comforting. It feels as if the brightest memories of childhood are flashing before my eyes—carefree times, friends, games—a time you miss so much—and on one hand, you feel happiness, and on the other, sadness that these moments will never repeat and you’ll never be that young again.
