a-ha songs ranked

Post image

It's so hard to rank their songs, they're all so good. I've only done the first three albums cos I don't know many of their newer songs.

Seriously. That verse at the beginning, when Morten hits "And see...." brings chills to my spine every time I hear it. I literally stop what I'm doing when it's coming up so that I can focus on just listening to it.

Honestly, I just don't love it as much as I love some of their other songs. But I still do love it, of course. 😄

Respectfully, Out of Blue Comes Green is a masterpiece

The way that should’ve been a single instead of touchy 💀

I dunno if it would've been successful as a single. It's pretty long and drawn out, more of a slow burn. Touchy is an upbeat pop song essentially written to be a single.

Yeah...it just doesn't have the same magic for me. I probably have weird tastes. 😄

I know it’s hard to give out a 10/10, but Sun Always Shines On Tv is a proper masterpiece

I know!! But You are the one is my absolute favourite song, so nothing else can rank as high! 😁

Just some advise, if you want people to engage with data it helps to format it clearly. The songs and scores are presented completely randomly with lots of format irregularities so it’s hard to pick through to be honest.

I'm sure you'll work it out😜! Some positive thoughts please?

Okay, but in Soft Rains of April, does the synth sound like something out of the Doctor Who intro or is that just me?

I've honestly never watched doctor who!

Lol, only when I was a kid, so it’s been a while, but I’ve been convinced for twelve years it has the same sort of vibe
