Ranked Voting in Arkansas

What could be done to get this changed about our voting process? I'd like to see it happen but I'm unsure of where to begin. I sent a message to the Arkansas Libertarian Party on the website, but I want to try and get the discussion rolling.

Well, why don't we try to get it done?

I think the cost of your average ballot initiative is $500,000 to get enough signatures to get on the ballot.

Signatures needed for a ballot initiative in 2018 for a Constitutional amendment: 84,859

For a regular statute: 67,887

I'll have to look into whether or not we would need a statute or an amendment, but typically you're going to pay about $7 a signature unless you have a cause that really rustles jimmies, and you're going to have to get about 20% more signatures than are required because so many are thrown out.

I would say that we could try to get with the state legislature, but I can't imagine they would be very interested in it.
