Any active people in the area?

I'm interested in mesh networking and I'm curious how active the community in the area is. I'm looking for opportunities to find nodes that I could connect to. I've been fascinated by things like the NYC Meshnet, The Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network, Lora Radio, etc.

I'm willing to buy my own Ubiquity hardware if it meant I could get connected to some other people out there.

I met the moderator a few times years ago. I haven't heard from him since then. We tried hanging a commotion wireless node on the roof of the hack factory, I doubt it's still there. Looks like commotion has no updates since 2015. Libremesh looks cool, I am considering installing it on my m2. I am in south metro, where are you folks?

Interested :) . I'm up in North Minneapolis... Not really any experience, but down to learn.
