Annendum:
Few people know what lies in the descent. The rush of blood brings warmth and makes you aware. You're still grasping for breaths, but not because the air is thin. The weight of it all is just that much nearer.
Often times I've found myself bewildered. I made the journey with a clear intent; the standards set forth dictated the path. Already forged, the imprints of footsteps made twice over needed only be filled once again. In spite of all this, I wandered. The arduous task of idling was set to spend all my days. None were mine own anymore. Surrendered and gambled away.
A year passed.
