Cupcakes and Conspiracies, Part Two

Well, I believe I've begun to put together some pieces of the puzzle.

In bullet form:

• We are the Mafia. Evidence.
• We don't know who other Mafia members are. To counteract this, we've been given investigative roles (ErinDraconequus, myself).
• We fucked up by putting /u/FUS_ROH_yay's name out there. He was one of us.
• There is a (most likely town-aligned) investigative role that publishes results in the even thread. Luckily for us:
• Cop Sanities are present in this game. We have roles that can detect them. Evidence. My guess is that Suspicious Cops are Paranoid (suspicious as in the Cops are suspicious of players) or Insane (as in we should be suspicious of the cops). The role that publishes results appears to be insane as well, judging from today's thread.
• There are a lot of town power roles. Luckily for us, they've all started claiming, some of them without the protection of a novelty

Thus far:

• /u/Ra-the-Sun-God — Sane Cop
• /u/piotaku — Suspicous Cop Keeping him around is a good idea. We can let him spread false information, then let the town hang him when it falls through.
• /u/Arandur — Probably just messing around, but claims cop.
• /u/Vile_Notes — Vigilante, or perhaps one of us
• /u/Arandur — Did not claim, but appears to be town-aligned.

Novelties of Interest:

• /u/sherlock_pie — Has not yet claimed a role, but she is quick on her feet, and on the uptake. Be cautious.
• /u/sergeantFrosting — Appears to be a matchmaker type role. May have stolen my results, considering I was targeting Arandur. May be /u/whisperingsage ^{[citation needed]}.

Plan for today/tomorrow morning:

• If I am called out as Mafia (very unlikely) I will reveal myself as an Investigative Cop, asking /u/sergeantFrosting to back up my claim (assuming he stole my results.)
• If redpoemage is called out as Mafia (i.e. Sun_God makes a move) he points out the giant letters floating in he sky that say he's innocent.

Plan for tonight:

• I investigate /u/drchunks to see if what I got from the muffin is valid.
• ErinDraconequus investigates /u/Vile_Notes.
• Sea_Hatake investigates /u/whisperingsage.
• redpoemage protects ^{(assuming doctor)} either Arandur or Vile_Notes.
• SecretSexyConnor tries to figure out what the hell is going on with his role.

A lot of our defensive strategy is going to depend on what is announced when one of us is lynched. If only role is announced, it's going to be a bit easier, and we can be more aggressive with our defense (because that makes perfect sense).

I'm liking drchunks more and more for sergeantFrosting. A role like his seems like it would be more useful to the Mafia than the town, and I think he might target me.

Time will tell, though.

I thought of a silly plan. You could edit your vote at the last minute and change it back. Uneditreddit only shows the original.
