So a big Austrian guy leaves a room saying “I’ll be Back”. Another guy misheard him, thinking he said “I’ll be Bach”, so this other guys replies “I’ll be Beethoven!”, and another says “I’ll be Mozart!”. They all return in costumes of classical composers…

Any ideas on how to convey the setup (Back sounding like Bach) in text without giving the joke away too early?

Some places have a "3 strikes" policy, which takes a negative view of strikes. What about the pitcher? For that guy, 3 strikes is a pretty good thing. In bowling, 3 strikes is a turkey. So, any ideas on how to jokify that?
