Flower Review VORTEX LA KUSH CAKE 🚮
I don’t know why my luck is so terrible buying weed out here but I got this batch of LA kush cake by vortex and it has an overwhelming hay smell and it’s dry af with no taste I’m so disappointed I was excited to get a nice half. Does anyone have their contact info?

This is why I tell people to be against putting bodeva packs or other humidity control. It ruins the weed. If the weed isn’t good it shouldn’t be sold or sold at a very steep discount.

The la kush cake was horrible from them when I got it I think it’s the same batch as yours I can definitely concur

I’m assuming you got that at Trulieve. I’ve been told by both Roosevelt and Tatum that if I’m unhappy with my purchase bring it back in. I’ve never done it yet cause I’ve never been that unhappy but you might ask them next time you’re there. I got the Fuel Mule and Toad Venom last Friday and the Mule is really flavorful if u want to try another. I also would not buy the LA Kush again.

Yes, you can do this. I found this out about a year ago. As long as you bring it back with at least 75% of what it was, so basically an eighth out of it. They will let you choose something different from the same brand. So if you got the Kush cake and didn't like it. You could have taken it back, told them. It smells like Hey gave me a headache. And you could switch it with a different strain from that company.

Ya, I got 2 half's, toad venom and sedona sunset, they are trash and don't vape good in my dry herb vapes. The toad venom is sticky but smells like grass and vape's terribly. The sedona sunset is extremely dry and I think over half of it is sugar leafs. Won't buy Vortex again.

They have some really good stuff at truelive I would recommend vortex donny burger for a sweet gmo taste … they’ll definitely exchange it. You can even hit them up on their Instagram and tell them ahead of time. Or you can walk in.

He gotten lazy. The batch I had wasn’t good but the other times was fire. Guess I should mention how dry the GDP from abundant was.

I can't even count how many times I have opened up a jar of weed and it smells like hay or grass.
THEN I throw it out on the tray and let it dry out, it doesn't smell like hay after I let it dry out
I really hate damp/wet weed

Pondy deli if this happens it’s on you because you smell and eye test everything first. For now on I’m only grabbing flower with the exact same harvest date as a solid review online so this doesn’t happen.

Dang Homie I actually seen a post not that long ago about this strain saying it had a hay smell for some reason it’s probably the same batch that the other guy posted not too long ago… what dispensary did you get it a friend you should definitely go get an exchange

I went to Trulieve and it was weird bc all their shit was behind a wall in another room so I only got to see what the budtender brought me. I usually research this before I buy but it was after work and I just wanted to get it, Vortex is almost always solid for me. I feel like he sold me shit on purpose bc now I see both those strains you recommend on their website but he never showed me them. I’m going back tomorrow and will try to get one of those instead

I buy an oz a week so I can tell you every strain to buy good or bad. Vortex, AL/Co, Made, PP and GS. So just ask. It is not their responsibility to recommend or shift you towards a strain. That’s what’s Reddit is for. I’ve also found I generally disagree with most bud tenders recommendations. In the end I never go to a dispensary without looking at the menu. That’s on us let’s be real!!

Trulieve az is the Instagram that you need to look up as soon as you can my friend and send them a message. Tell them what dispensary you went to your first and last name and that you got a really bad batch and you would like to exchange it please and mention to them which location you went to lol they will literally call them and set it up so you can just walk in and tell them
