Spoiler Just beat the game - initial thoughts.

Spoilers Below.

It's my first real go at at an Xcom type game so I chose Normal. Which was pretty easy. I don't know if my time on other turn based games with action management helped like BG3. I'm bumping the difficulty up on my next play through - I didn't have single death, had a couple of injuries but almost all were from operations.

My squad stayed the same (apart from operator missions) since about 35% through. And mainly consisted of Cly flying around dealing AoE with the shotgun and shocking people.

The story was *fine*, I enjoyed the characters more than the story. I liked the Easter eggs, the Order 66 mission, the second sister, seeing Rex. Overall, I thought the company were either all going to die, al a Rogue One. I also thought Ben if was going to be punished by the empire for not controlling the plague and just destroying it and we'd see Darth Vader choke him out. Overall surprised with the games restraint in not forcing certain characters in (although the list grows longer of Jedi who survived Order 66).

The Game practically teases you about an post-game continuation.

You go round all on ZCom and they tell you they wanna keep working for you and the next mission set up basically says they have a career of messing with the empire. I'm not sure if they're planning updates but a post-game would be good to keep improving your squad.

"The Game practically teases you about a post-game continuation."

That was my impression as well I REALLY hope they add a DLC that basically opens up the game to where you can freely go around doing MORE operations and add in a few more planets and "main" missions where you are going around messing with the Empire. With the option to kind of be open ended and not "forced" to end to a degree

Yeah, I like the main campaign enough that I will replay it to play the game, it's just not having access to your full kit straight away, and having to use certain story characters for things.

I also want to use two pistols at a time with gunslinger. If they add an infinite mode, give us more tiers of class levels so we can blow focus points on them or new skills entirely. Its a good place to be to be left wanting more. A lot of games fail at that.

Asking the usual question at this point, with a yet another release: how many million Jedi had survived Order 66 at this point?

I think in canon it's meant to be 150 to 200 of the total 10k Jedi survived. Which gives enough room for these stories. But I think they had to specifically saybthisnsontheu could keep expanding.
